Damien Farrell

Damien is Chief Executive Officer of the Australian School of Applied Management (ASAM) and Women & Leadership Australia (WLA) and National Director of the National Excellence in School Leadership Initiative (NESLI).

Previously, Damien held various executive positions across organisations including Fairfax Media, BD Media, and Ocean Internet.

Damien is a fervent believer in the importance of effective leadership, both as a leader himself and as a champion for the development of other leaders. In 2003, Damien’s passion for supporting equal opportunity for all leaders lead him to found Women & Leadership Australia; and he remains a committed advocate for increased gender equality in all Australian workplaces.

Damien’s role as National Director of NESLI reflects his commitment to supporting the development of world class school leaders. Damien passionately believes that through exceptional school leadership, Australian children will be better supported to reach their full potential.​ Damien also sits on the board of Parkinson’s Victoria.​
