The New Zealand Women's Leadership Forum is coming to Wellington!
Women & Leadership New Zealand is excited to be bringing the Women’s Leadership Forum to Wellington this October.
Lisa Tamati will headline the event, with Vanisa Dhiru, Elisha Watson, Teresa Tepania Ashton MNZM, Kiri Allan and Helen Mallon also participating to inspire delegates and share their valuable insights and wisdom. The event will be held at the James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor, Wellington, on Thursday, 31st of October.
The one day Forum series has been designed by WLNZ to reach leaders who are not based in major capital cities. Delegates are offered the chance to network with like-minded women in their area, share their wisdom and gain invaluable insights from expert speakers.
One of Women & Leadership New Zealand's expert leadership facilitators will also guide delegates through three leadership development sessions throughout the day: A Mindful and Resilient Leader, Building Career Changing Connections and Networking Strategically and Be Brave, Adaptive and Experimental.
Suzi Finkelstein, Director of Leadership & Advocacy at WLNZ, said of the event; “The forum provides a tremendously exciting opportunity for local female leaders to share their expertise and advice with women in their own community.
“We are excited to be able to offer this kind of unique leadership development opportunity to women based in Wellington. We know that being located outside of a capital city can prevent a barrier for women to access these kinds of development opportunities.”
The agenda and development sessions are ideal for women who are looking for increased awareness of their leadership style and competencies, as well as practical strategies to help them overcome challenges within their work and personal life. There will also be plenty of opportunities to network with like-minded leaders and speakers alike.
